CAB Inter District Cricket Started in Siliguri From Today

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 4th March, 2017: In the first Round Robin League of CAB conducted Inter-District Senior Cricket Tournament the first match was played between Siliguri Mahakuma Krira Parishad (SMKP) and Coochbehar District Sports Association (CDSA) from Group A. The Two Day single match started from today and will be ended tomorrow. The toss was won by CDSA and they elected to bat first. In the first day first innings CDSA managed to score only 138 runs in 63.3 over before they were all out. Captain Joy Routh, the second down batsman scored 70 runs that led the score to a respectable position. Among the wicket takers Md. Akram Raza took the highest i.e. 4 wickets for 33 runs in 17.3 overs. Since the first innings ended in only 63.3 overs. The match officials decided to start the second innings by today. In the second innings SMKP ended the day with 6 runs but after losing opener Debraj Ghosh for 4 runs. The match will resume tomorrow at 11 am.
